This topic is not relevant with a school activity directly, but Mr. Nomura, professor of University of Tsukuba visited us last week. One of the main reasons why he came to meet us is to see the class of the student who did it by this program in Thailand. We held a meeting and ate with him and the student who came from Philippine/Indonesia at night. It was very good. I loved some cheese in this restaurant. Four other students continue doing classes mainly at a junior high school, and we do them in an elementary school. Therefore there are not many opportunities to meet them. Six people gathered and were able to take the communication after a long absence. We will do our best for more remaining two weeks.

On Saturday, Mr. Nomura took us to Laos with him on a car early in the morning. The main purpose to go to Laos was to exchange opinions with a student of University of Tsukuba which was in Laos as the United Nations volunteer for five months. I heard an interesting story from him about conventional travel or Thai culture in the car a lot. Thus, I was not bored. We who were ignorant had trouble in before and after that entered the country. However, overseas experience is abundant, and Mr.Nomura can speak Thai fluently, too. We were able to go over The border by his support safely. I thank him very much.
About Laos, I got much knowledge from Mr. Nomura. Laos has a building copied from a French world heritage because originally it was a colony of France. The prices are lower surprisingly than Thailand. The economic development is late in ASEAN. Thai is similar to Laotian very much… I talked with the senior of the same department locally. She spared valuable time to come back to Japan just before that in the meeting with us. I am very glad that I can experience various encounters. I was going to value such a relationship.
In these two days, I felt the existence of many people who helped us. Like Mr.Nomura, there is a person coming expressly to the field. There are many businesslike filing people. There is the person handling the document for scholarships. There are a family and a friend to contact frequently. There is a kind teacher who appear in the meeting only for an interpreter at school though even she is busy, going to understand my poor English is. There are the pretty students who are going to take the communication though I can understand nothing. I want to appreciate that I do this program in Thailand as a volunteer based on much support. In addition, I am going to spend remaining days in Thailand to be able to meet the expectation of everybody.
